Her Name Was Mary Wick is the biography of Youngstown’s Wick Family and their daughter Mary, a Mount Holyoke graduate, who illustrated surgeries in Youngtown hospitals. The 200-page biography is based on five scrapbooks kept by Mary Wick in the early 1900s and discovered in an antique mall by writer Lillian Reynolds Reeher. The book includes Mary’s medical illustrations. All sales from the book have gone to non-profit organizations in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
