Basement
Grant
We have just received
a grant from State Representative Dick Stevenson to work on the basement.
This work will be going on through the spring and into the summer. (If
you hear a noise downstairs, it is not a ghost!) We plan to reinforce
part ofthe basement ceiling, cement the floor in one room, rewire and
put in new ceilings. We hope to eventually have a classroom in the basement.
We have put manymore projects on our wishlist than we have money. Therefore,
we plan to continue working in the basement until the money runs out.
Archival
Work
We have a young
man, Jonathan Riddle, who is working this spring and summer doing archival
work, mainly in the College Room. He is being funded by a donation from
Grove City College and Joseph D. Monteleone. He will be around all summer,
and you can read more about this project in the current newsletter.
